The beasts in Revelation 13 continued.
In the author’s analysis, the beast, with its two parts in Revelation 13, does not refer to an influential individual or a leader. The beast is not located in a specific geographic region. The coordinating authority, the World Trade Organization (WTO), is in Geneva, Switzerland. The beast in Revelation chapter 13 is neither a religious nor a socio-political entity. Rather, the beast, with its two parts, represents humankind’s global system. Not all nations of the world are the architects of the system, but all nations must be loyal members of it. This truly global and all-inclusive system is the seventh kingdom referred to in Revelation chapter 17. (Revelation 17:9 – 11). No other ongoing undertaking in the world qualifies as a truly global system and, therefore, as the beast in Revelation 13. Only the activities promoted and managed by the WTO and its associated agencies have global order as a goal.
It should always be clear that the WTO is the first and the only Sovereign Global Organization. The seventh kingdom is a consensual and synchronized integration of economic and commerce activities by free and sovereign countries of the world. The primary goal of the seventh kingdom is to achieve long-lasting global peace and prosperity. This goal is noble and good at its face value. However, the seventh kingdom attempts to secure a long-lasting and prosperous destiny through its power and ingenuity. The seventh kingdom will pursue these goals without relying on God’s guidance or that of any other authority. Nevertheless, the formation of the seventh kingdom is the fulfillment of God’s words.
The beast that came out of the Earth is essentially a continuation of the beast that came out of the Sea but in a different geographic location initially. The two-part unit functions according to the plans promoted by the beast with seven heads and ten horns. (Revelation 17:3). “He exercised all the ruling authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and those who inhabit it worship the first beast, the one whose lethal wound had been healed.” Revelation 13:12. The “worship” mentioned above is not of a religious nature but rather a required and loyal membership in a sovereign global organization, the World Trade Organization (WTO). Therefore, now there is only one beast. The second beast exercises the authority of the beast out of the sea in its presence. Therefore, both exist and function concurrently as one. They do so because they exercise the same authority given to the beast by Satan. Revelation 13:2. The United States’ economy and commerce system align with the goal of the first beast, the beast that came out of the sea.
The second beast began its concerted effort with the meeting of the World War Two allied countries. (More details will follow in the next blog.) Soon after this meeting, a meeting of European nations was held in Rome in 1950. This meeting laid the foundation for the European Economic and Customs Union. The Vatican did not participate in the meeting and is not a member of the European Union. Religion did not play a role in the formation of the European Union. The European Union has extended an invitation to all countries that were once part of the Roman Empire to join the Union. Interestingly, the establishment of the WTO by the USA in Europe and the establishment of the European Union occurred simultaneously during the same period.
