The Remnant must proclaim the good news.
“He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Mark 16:15. Those who are righteous in Jesus Christ have proclaimed the good news throughout the centuries of Christianity. The good news is Jesus Christ, the good news of our salvation. However, those dressed in white robes of our righteousness from God, Jesus Christ, have an essential mission to accomplish before they stand with the Lord on Mount Zion. At the end of the last days, there will be a resolute and devoted proclamation of the good news, Jesus Christ. The sealed ones must fulfill the commission that Jesus gave, and they will accomplish it. The proclamation of the Gospel, Jesus Christ, is a sign of Jesus’s return. “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:14. The gospel of the kingdom does not refer to physical dominion. It refers to the kingdom of God, Jesus Christ, the God with us. Jesus, the Messiah, is the kingdom from heaven. Matthew 2:1-2; Luke 17:20-21.
The righteous in Jesus must and will inform the dark world that the Light of the world came from the Father in heaven and has become the new life for the dying world. The dying world must hear that God, in Jesus Christ, has rescued humankind from the kingdom of sin and darkness and brought it into the kingdom of Light and righteousness. The Remnant must inform the world that in Jesus Christ, on the cross at Golgotha, God has accomplished everything needed for the salvation of humankind. In Jesus Christ on the cross at Golgotha, God has restored humankind to Himself as His children, with full inheritance rights in His kingdom. Colossians 1:12–14.
The end of the last days will be a time of great uncertainty, turbulence, anxiety, and unimaginable troubles. Today, more than ever, the world needs to hear the good news about God’s finished work of salvation in Jesus Christ on the cross at Golgotha. The proclamation of the law and the prophecies do not constitute the good news of the kingdom from heaven that the righteous in Jesus must proclaim. The law and the prophets were proclaimed until the time of John the Baptist. “The law and the prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being proclaimed, and everyone is forcing their way into it.” Luke 16:16. The return of the King of kings and the Lord of lords will crown the proclamation of the good news of the kingdom. Jesus assured us of it in Matthew 24:14.
